Two-Band Access Point TP-Link Eap320. Wi-Fi Business Solution

This article will be useful for those who are looking for some solution to organize Wi-Fi network for their business. If you have for example a cafe, store, hotel, office, university, you need a serious and stable network for your employees and customers. Without that, you can’t do anything nowadays. TP-Link has created several wireless access points just for such cases. And today I’m going to tell you about one of them – TP-Link EAP320.
This access point is unlikely to be useful for ordinary users for home use. If you are looking for a solution to create a home Wi-Fi network, you will be enough to have a regular Wi-Fi router, which I wrote about in this article. Yes, and very often to create a Wi-Fi network in some institutions or offices also use ordinary routers. Not rarely, the most budget models. It is clear that this is done in order to save money. I believe that this is wrong and not serious. Nowadays, in any institution there should be a fast and stable Wi-Fi network. Don’t forget that many of your customers come to you precisely because of free Wi-Fi 🙂 .
The TP-Link EAP320 is just that. It’s a gigabit, dual-band access point. Which means it will give out Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz, and 5GHz. In large business centers where there are many Wi-Fi networks, going to 5 GHz is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Minimize interference, and maximize speed.
TP-Link EAP320 access point is packed with different technologies and a lot of settings. Everything is aimed exactly at using these devices in business and for creating large networks in large enterprises. Using a large number of such access points.
From the main features of TP-Link EAP320:
- Speed: up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, and up to 867 Mbps at 5 GHz.
- Authentication Portal. A very useful feature when creating a Wi-Fi network for customers. You can use it to create an authorization page. And when connecting to your Wi-Fi network, the client will need to perform some action. Or, for example, you can simply display some advertisement of your services.
- Free EAP Controller is a technology that allows you to easily manage a large number of access points. For large networks, this is a must-have technology.
- Beamforming, Airtime Fairness, Band Steering – three technologies that aim to maximize Wi-Fi network performance.
- Power over Ethernet (802.3at) – This technology allows you to transmit power to the access point over the network cable.
- Convenient access point mounting. It comes with a ceiling mount.
- Powerful hardware, which is able to connect a large number of clients. At the same time, a stable Wi-Fi network will be provided.
TP-Link EAP320 Access Point Review
Let’s take a look at what this access point looks like.
As I’ve already written above, the mount is included in the kit.
Almost all the ports are located at the back: there’s 1 Ethernet port, 1 Console port and a power connector. There is also a RESET button for resetting the settings, and a Kensington connector.
As usual, the build quality and plastic are top-notch. The device looks and feels very “powerful” in the hands. A very cool solution for business.
