Such adapters are very relevant now by the way, because almost all modern ultrabooks do not have an RJ-45 connector. For MacBook Air it is also suitable.

TP-LINK UE300 adapter is very compact and beautiful. It is made of white glossy plastic. The USB connector itself is hidden in the body of the adapter. That makes it even more compact.

On the front panel there is only a logo and a small indicator. On the front there is an RJ-45 port for connecting the network cable.

Connecting and configuring TP-LINK UE300

To be honest, there’s not even anything to write about here. Everything is very simple. It is enough to connect the adapter to a computer or laptop. And connect the network cable from the router or Internet provider to the adapter.

I, the computer was not able to install the driver of this adapter itself.

But, if you go to “My Computer” (In Windows 10, “this computer”), you will see a new CD drive there. Open it, and run the program that will install the driver you need.

After a few seconds, the adapter will be detected, and it will start working. Drivers for TP-LINK UE300 can also be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website. There is also a driver for Mac OS X. If you have an Apple computer, the driver must be installed.
