Wi-Fi without access to the Internet through a router
Hello! The problem I have is that, both from the phone and from the computer I have the status of the network “without access to the Internet”. The Internet itself works cable connected to the computer it works well, but with wi-fi without access to the Internet, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark popped up….. All your tips read and followed, but it didn’t help…. What could be the reason? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Answer
Hi. Your problem is understandable. And I’m pretty sure that the “no internet access” status on all devices is due to improper router configuration. This is a very popular problem.
When we install the router, it needs to be properly configured to connect to the internet service provider. Specify in the router settings the type of connection the ISP uses, set the necessary parameters, and clone the MAC address (give the ISP a new address). If your ISP uses MAC address binding. You no longer need to start any connections on your computer (if you have done so before).
On this topic there is an article When setting up the router writes “No Internet access”, or “Restricted” and no Internet connection. It is exactly on your problem.
