Wi-Fi on a laptop with Windows 10 catches only near the router

Hello. I had a problem after installing Windows 10. 2 to be exact.

  1. Lost Wi-Fi (or rather, it is there only need to sit right next to the router) moved away for 2 meters and silence. While that and phones and tablets see it everywhere.
The router was rewritten to the provider. Note does not see beyond his nose meter 2 and all (I have neighbors Wi-Fi sometimes connect) now does not see anything! drov updated, notebook rolled back to factory defaults, diagnostics writes that everything is super(((( what to do?).
  2. Problem notebook no longer turns off! Goes into sleep mode at the command to shut down! Only forced can be turned off. I have to sit through the phone! While that and his connected near sees barely barely!

Answer

The first problem does not look like a software problem. I mean that it is unlikely that because of the driver or Windows 10 can be such a bad Wi-Fi signal when away from the router. I’ve seen such problems more than once, but they usually occurred after disassembling the laptop when there were problems with the Wi-Fi antenna connection.

On this problem I can not tell you anything, as I have not faced it myself, and it is not on the topic.

Better yet, reinstall Windows 10. From the original system image, not some assembly. If the problems persist, install Windows 7. So that at least you know that the problem is not in the hardware.
