Wi-Fi disappears after connecting the laptop to the mains
Hello! I connect to Wi-Fi from a laptop on Windows 10, 64 bit. The network is working. No icons….. but only from the battery. As soon as I insert the power plug – everything hangs and stops. Torrent downloads drop to 0, while the speed was 10 mbps. Not 1 page of the Internet does not open. I pull out the plug (switch to battery) – everything works fine.

Interesting case you have. Usually on the contrary, when powered from the network Wi-Fi works stably, and from the battery begins to disappear, disconnects, etc.
You certainly described your question (if it is a question) in an interesting way, but you didn’t write anything specific about the problem.
- When did this come up? Was it working fine before?
- What is the status of the Wi-Fi connection after connecting the power adapter to the laptop? Does it change in any way?
- Does everything start working immediately after disconnecting power from the laptop? Or do you reboot?
You need to check the power plan settings when working from the power adapter (from a power outlet). And disable disconnecting the Wi-Fi adapter. I wrote about it in detail in the article Setting up the power supply for the wireless network adapter.
