Why is there no support for the network in Windows 10?
I changed drivers several times, but this line in the command line did not change. I bought a new PCI adapter, but even so, the problem was not solved. The adapters are TL-WN823N and TL-WN881ND. How do I give out wi-fi? Do I have to buy a new adapter? If so, please advise me which one I should buy.
I hope for a quick reply, thanks in advance.
Do you have “Hosted network support” checked as “No”? And when you try to start the giveaway the error is “Failed to start hosted network”? Are you running Windows 10.
The first thing I would advise you to do is not to waste money on adapters, but to buy a Wi-Fi router, even the cheapest one. It’s much better than giving out Wi-Fi from your computer.
Windows 10 may not support hosted networking. From what I understand, Microsoft is completely kicking this feature out of the system in favor of the built-in Mobile Hotspot feature.
You can try to give out internet via hotspot, but this feature doesn’t work if you have a high speed internet connection (PPPoE). What kind of internet connection you have on your computer, you didn’t specify in the question.
As for the hosted network (running it through the command line), you should try slipping the system an old driver for the Wi-Fi adapter. The same TP-Link website may have old versions of drivers for the Wi-Fi adapter. You can try replacing the driver.
