Router Zyxel Keenetic Lite III, bought in 2017. The firmware is up to date. Worked perfectly. Recently, suddenly began to lose the external network, that is, the indicator goes out and the Internet is really not on any device. Rebooting by removing-inserting the power cable helps, but the frequency of network drops seems to be increasing. Today it happened 2 times in 1.5 hours. After rebooting it works as it should. There are no problems on the ISP side.

The problem, when the Internet drops out on the router, is quite popular. It happens not only with routers from Zyxel Keenetic. Most often this manifests itself on budget devices.

One of the most common reasons is a malfunction of the hardware. Perhaps there are already some defects on the router board itself, or in the power supply. Bloated capacitors, for example. It may be warming up.

If the firmware has been updated, there are no unnecessary settings and the provider is all good, it is unlikely that you can do anything in this situation.
