Why does the iPhone connect to WiFi but not load?

Router works fine, other devices are connected. The iPhone connects, the icon appears, but it can’t load any pages. It’s been like this for a week.

I’ve reset the settings, rebooted the router and iPhone too.

Today I connected to someone else’s network, barely loaded something, then the mobile Internet stopped working, but Wi-Fi worked.

Then all over again – mobile works Wi-Fi does not load.

Answer

After connecting iPhone to wi-fi, in the settings, near the network itself there is no “No internet connection”? Internet in apps also does not work, or only in the browser? What error appears when opening sites on iPhone?

And it’s not very clear, does it still work with another Wi-Fi network? Check more with other networks. Maybe you need to change the network mode, channel, channel width, etc. in your router settings.

In any case, apart from resetting your iPhone (you can only do a network reset) there’s hardly anything else you can do.

Unless you try to disable the “wi-fi help” function.

You can also try manually prescribing DNS. Open the properties of a particular Wi-Fi network and set static DNS addresses: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4
