This is a typical situation. The hotel has built a poor Wi-Fi network. Most likely because of economy. Wi-Fi seems to be there, but in fact it is not. It would be better not to have it at all. In this case, there’s nothing you can do. You can’t strengthen the Wi-Fi yourself. This should be done by the hotel staff. Put additional equipment, change the old one, remake the network, etc. But as I understand it, they don’t want to do it.
I had a similar story last summer. In the hotel, in my room the signal was very bad. And if I managed to connect to it, the internet either worked for a couple of minutes or did not work at all. Moreover, the network was so busy that I could not connect to it even in the area of stable signal. I’m not talking about the room where the signal was very weak.
Just gave out mobile internet from my phone. I did not even appeal to the administration, as I realized that it will not do anything. And they themselves know what kind of Internet they have. That’s how it is.
