Two-band router does not distribute Wi-Fi 2.4 GHZ

Huawei dual-band router only gives out 5 GHz Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz is enabled in the settings, but is not detected anywhere). The phone connects to 5 GHz, but the old laptop supports only 2.4 GHz.

I haven’t changed anything in the settings. It started a couple of weeks ago-first for half an hour, then for more, now 2 days without internet on the laptop.

The router itself shows my laptop in the list of connected devices, but the laptop is not connected.

Even the wifi analyzer only shows 5 GHz.

I can’t advise you anything new and unique. Does your phone not see the network at 2.4 GHz either? Or do other devices see it except your laptop?

In the settings of your Huawei router, check and make sure that network broadcasting on the 2.4 GHz frequency is enabled. There in the settings you can also try to change the network channel. Set, for example, static 6-th. Maybe there is some interference.

Does your router have separate indicators for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz? Are they blinking?
