TP-Link TL-WR841N as an amplifier Wi-Fi network
Answer
Good day. In the settings of TP-LINK TL-WR841N there is no mode of Wi-Fi network amplifier. At least it wasn’t before. There is a bridge mode (WDS).
With its help you can connect TL-WR841N to another Wi-Fi router. It will receive Internet via wireless network and distribute it via Wi-Fi and cable. And if you set the same network name and password on TL-WR841N as on the main router, it can become a repeater. One Wi-Fi network. If you need it. But I can’t guarantee the stability of such a network. Here as luck would have it.
I have already written detailed instructions on how to set up the bridge mode: /tp-link/tp-link-router-setting-in-bridge-mode-wds-we-connect-two-wi-fi-fi-routers/
It is possible to strengthen Wi-Fi network with TL-WR841N. But it’s not as convenient and stable as with a real repeater.
