There is no Wi-Fi distribution on the Netis WF2419E router if there is an Internet over the cable

No wifi distribution on netis 2419e router when internet is available via cable. I found that all devices on the Wi-Fi connection do not have access to the Internet. At the same time you can go to the provider’s website. On the computer, which is connected by cable through the router is the same. The technician came, checked the cable, reconnected it.

Then he installed the program “wizard settings” and restored the connection on the computer. He could not enter the router settings, because the access was passworded, but I could not enter by 100% correct password. Then I reset the router settings myself and tried different connection options.

The result is the same – the Internet is on cable and cable through the router on the computer, on mobile devices “no access to the Internet”, only the provider’s site.

Answer

Didn’t the ISP technician who checked the cable check the router settings?

Do a router reset again. Delete the ISP connection on your computer. It is better to do a network reset (not necessary, just in case you can’t open the router settings). Connect to Netis WF2419E via Wi-Fi or cable. Only one connection should be active on your computer – to the router. Connect the Internet (cable) to the WAN port on the router. You do not need to start any Internet connections on your computer. Try to enter the Netis router settings. The factory settings will immediately open the web interface, there is no password.

If you can get into the settings, try to configure the router. You can use the Netis WF2419R and Netis WF2419 setup instructions as an example. Only in the Internet connection settings you must correctly configure the connection to your ISP. The operator seems to use L2TP connection type. There you need to specify the user name, password, server name. You can get this information from the operator’s support. I saw on the screenshots that you have configured the connection. But maybe you specified some parameters incorrectly. Since the router does not establish a connection with the ISP.

There are different things, and maybe in your case the reason is not in the router settings. For example, the router does not see the Internet cable (WAN). Or the router is simply broken. If the Internet works when connected directly to the computer, then the ISP most likely has everything OK.
