The site tplinklogin.net does not open
Now http://tplinklogin.net/ asks for ISP type, I choose L2TP, it loads (sorry, I can’t attach images) a gray panel and a black bar, and at the top it says “buy this domain”. I then went back and just started trying all ISP types in turn, but it continues the same. On the left side of the menu any section: status, quick setup, WPS, system tools, etc are loaded again by this gray bar with the inscription… What can be the matter? The cable when inserted from the router after some settings asked for login and password, entered, the status was: connected, but the site only half loaded and that’s it.
Answer
Hello. To be honest, I don’t understand your problem.
I think you need to first reset your router according to these instructions. Next, go to the settings of your TL-WR842ND router at 192.168.0.1, or 192.168.1.1 (one of them will do for sure).
Go to the Network – WAN tab, and there select your connection type and set the parameters given by your ISP.
Here are more instructions on how to configure TP-Link TL-WR842ND.
