The Internet turns off and turns on on the Tenda router and Wi-Fi disappears
In the house we have 2 computers (mine and my father) + TV which works from the Internet and also 3 more phones which are connected to wi-fi. At home we have a Wi-Fi router Tenda. Because of the fact that the device that distributes the Internet one, and distributions need a lot of it is connected to the Wi-Fi router to which my computer is connected by cable. Recently (literally 2-3 days ago) began to appear the following problem: Wi-Fi router reboots (as it seems to me) every 4-5 seconds + the distribution of Wi-Fi and my computer loses Internet with a periodicity of 4-5 seconds, and this problem comes completely spontaneously and without any connection, for example, sat at the computer, watching video and suddenly the Internet began to disappear and reappear.
Also a very strange fact: I looked at the input to the device that distributes the Internet and saw that everything works stably except the cable that connects to the Wi-Fi router, ie, the Internet at my father (he is directly connected to the device) does not disappear and I just so will disappear because I am connected to the Wi-Fi router, I tried to connect my computer directly to the device that distributes the Internet in the same input that the Wi-Fi router and there is no such problem. It should be noted that the load on the Wi-Fi router has not increased and all the above gadgets and devices have been connected to it for at least 2-3+ years, if you need any additional information I am open for discussion.
Answer
If the internet disappears simultaneously on all devices that are connected to the Tenda router, while from the device (modem to which the router is connected) everything works stably, then the problem is only in the router.
wi-fi router is rebooting (I think)
Have you noticed that the lights on the router go out, start to light up/blink differently than usual at the moment when the internet is down? The wifi network disappears the moment the router reboots.
I think it’s a hardware failure of the router, or the power supply. You can do a factory reset using these instructions. Set up the router again. But most likely this will not help and it will have to be replaced. I wrote about a similar problem in the article: the router is constantly rebooting, or have to reboot.
And when only one phone is connected to the router, or only your computer via cable – the Internet also turns off and on and wi-fi disappears?
