What only I tambourine dances did not make but all to no avail, I changed the cable, and all sorts of settings entered and nothing helps. While when through the same cable, say, the wife’s laptop connected all ok. Sinfully I think the network in PS4 died, but still hope that the case in the router, although the one and the new ).

What do you think it could be. Moreover, during the thunderstorm was a strong power surge and a strong clap, as if someone threw a firecracker, I almost fell off the chair).

Answer

Hello. I hate to break it to you, but it all boils down to the fact that the LNA port on your Sony PlayStation 4 did burn out during the thunderstorm. Or some kind of controller. Especially if you are a cable from TP-Link TL-WR841N connect to your laptop and the internet works. I just don’t see any other options.

During the thunderstorm, when the old TP-Link router burned down, the discharge simply went through the network cable to the PS4 console and the LAN port burned out on it. This is a common situation. On computers, network cards burn up just fine. It’s a best-case scenario.

I could be wrong. Only a service center will be able to give you an exact answer after looking at your PS4. I think you should be happy that the console is intact and in working condition. I realize that Wi-Fi speed is slower and not as stable, but it’s better.
