The computer stops distributing Wi-Fi and devices are disconnected

Using your advice, I set up Wi-Fi distribution on my computer using the command line. Everything started up fine and even works! BUT. From time to time device: any, whether it is a netbook, tablet or phone disconnect from the device and trying to access enter the mode of obtaining an IP address. For unknown reasons they can not get it, and soon the point becomes not active at all. It helps only to disconnect the access point, again through the command line or bin file, and then start it again.

Have you encountered this problem and how to deal with it, if “YES”?

Answer

I have not encountered such a problem myself. But I’ve heard that sometimes the access point on the computer is turned off automatically, and Wi-Fi distribution is lost.

I don’t really understand your specific case.

  1. Are the devices disconnected from the access point at the same time?
  2. Does it happen after a certain time (what kind of time)?
  3. Doesn’t the computer go to sleep at that moment?

Did I understand correctly, the network does not disappear, just the devices stop receiving IP?

If you have Windows 10, you can try to configure everything through Mobile Hotspot.
