Tenda AC6 via pppoE does not connect to the Internet

Tenda AC6 router tries to connect via PPPoE and gives the error “Failed to connect” In technical support they say “wrong password” but) wrote and manually and copied (Ctrl + C from the router settings and pasted on the provider’s site all at once logs in).

Answer

I think something is wrong here. It is unlikely that the password from PPPoE authorization can be used somewhere on the ISP’s site. And it’s not clear where “everything goes at once”. The password from the provider’s personal cabinet and the password to connect to the Internet are most likely different.

Call your provider’s support and find out what PPPoE settings should be set. There is no MAC-address binding. Ask where you can find the password for PPPoE settings on your Tenda AC6 router. Most likely the username and password are in the contract your ISP should have given you when you connected to the internet.

I’m pretty sure that the problem is not on the router side. You either have the wrong settings or something at the ISP.
