I connected in the following way: modem in router mode, and kinetics as a wi-fi repeater. It turned out in the kinetics writes: Internet access is available (broadband connection is lit green), but in the information about the system, where Updates – no connection. On the computer is written in the properties of the adapter – something about the absence of the main dns server! What to do . Help!!!!!!

Hello. Well, there is definitely something wrong with your ZyXEL Keenetic Viva settings, because in repeater mode there can’t be a wired connection.

You didn’t write what kind of Huawei modem you have. I think you connect ZyXEL Keenetic Viva to the modem to distribute Wi-Fi network. In this case, it is correct to configure Keenetic Viva in access point mode.

Do a factory reset on ZyXEL. go to the settings, in the “wi-fi” section set the network name and password, and then in the “System” – “Mode” section switch the router to “Access Point” mode.

Connect the router and the modem by cable (if I’m not mistaken, the LAN-LAN scheme). ZyXEL will receive Internet from the modem and distribute it via Wi-Fi and wire.
