Setting up the Chinese Repiter Edup KW-AC6018 (no Internet)

Couldn’t configure EDUP KW-AC6018 repeater, it’s a Chinese dual-band repeater that can also work as an access point.

In either mode, two more new networks are created, and no matter what they are called, they are still other networks, not extensions of old ones.

I send you the manual for this device. My main router SERCOM RV6699 has the same address as EDUP KW-AC6018 192,168,1,254.
I change it on the repeater to 192,168,1,101, set up to expandable networks with passwords, set channels like the old ones. everything is ok in the status. But there is no internet either in repeater mode or in access point mode.

I was confused by DHCP settings on the repeater regarding DNS-servers, I tried different combinations – one-mandate.

Hello, I would have this EDUP KW-AC6018. And so there is no way to check, and see what’s going on with the settings.

Standard Wi-Fi network (or networks) will be until the pepiter is not configured to connect to your network. After that, these networks disappear.

Judging by the photo with the instructions, there is a setup wizard. Where you can configure everything step by step. Plus, the control panel is in English (not Chinese). And that’s already good 🙂

Do a reset of EDUP KW-AC6018 and without changing any settings try to configure it through the quick setup wizard. If you can’t access the internet again, try setting it up with a different wifi network. Maybe your router is not giving internet to it for some reason.

Or after resetting it, try setting it up via the WPS button. By activating WPS on your router, and pressing the corresponding button on your EDUP KW-AC6018 repeater. The connection will probably be established automatically.

Unfortunately, this is all I can advise in this situation.
