Pages in the browser do not open. It is not possible to find DNS address

Good afternoon, the problem is as follows: on the computer (wire from the router) on SAMSUNG Galaxy S6 (wi-fi connection) and on LG SmartTV (wi-fi connection) do not open the Internet pages (writes: “Can not find DNS-address”), and on the other gadgets Internet works, but slightly hangs – tablet and 2 smartphones (tablet without 3g, on the smartphone specially disconnected the Internet from the SIM card to check). Router: ASUS RT-N10B1., provider – Gigalink, router reset and insisted 10 times, nothing helps, the provider on the call explained that they do not see the problem, that the Internet to me comes in full without interruptions. Please tell me what could be the problem and how to solve it? Thanks in advance!

Answer:

Good afternoon. I understand the problem. And I’m almost sure that it can be solved by writing static DNS addresses:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

But here’s the best way to do it. I don’t know what type of connection your ISP uses. You can try to write these DNS in the settings of the ASUS RT-N10B1 router, on the “Internet” tab, where the parameters for connecting to your provider are set.

Or you can set static DNS in the settings of your devices. For example, I showed you how to do it on a computer in the article: some sites don’t open in the browser. On Android and TV, you can also set static DNS in the Wi-Fi network properties, which I gave above.

But why everything works fine on other devices is a mystery to me.
