LAN Port instead of WAN on the ADSL modem TP-Link TD-W8961ND
I have a TP-LINK TD-W8961ND router. There is no WAN port is it possible in the settings to configure lan place wan? Thanks in advance!

I understand correctly, you want to use this ADSL modem as a regular router by connecting internet to it via network cable (RJ-45)? Since there is no RJ-45 WAN port, only RJ-11, you want to use the LAN port instead of WAN.
I am not familiar with TP-LINK TD-W8961ND modem, I have not had to configure it. But, I’ve looked now on the official site control panel (settings simulator), and there seems to be such an option.
When you start the modem “Quick Setup”, you will be able to select “Ethernet WAN For Ethernet(RJ45) Service”.
And then you can set the parameters for connecting to the ISP. It says that LAN port 4 will be a WAN port.
I haven’t checked it myself. But I think that everything should work.
