I turned off Wi-Fi on a router and I can’t connect and go to the settings to enable Wi-Fi
Good evening. I have a problem I disconnected the Internet network of my router through the program Tether (on my phone). I can’t fix it myself because I lost Wi-Fi and can’t log back into the program.
Please help me. Thanks in advance.
Answer
That’s an interesting case you have. From your description I couldn’t understand what exactly you disabled. It’s not that important, though.
If you have completely disabled the Wi-Fi network, there are at least three solutions:
- If there is a Wi-Fi button on the router (you just didn’t write the router model for some reason), then try pressing it. The Wi-Fi network will probably show up.
- Connect to the router via a network cable, go into the settings and enable broadcasting Wi-Fi sets. But for this you need a computer, or a laptop with a network card. The cable should be in the set with the router.
- Do a factory reset. Then Wi-Fi will appear (with the factory name), and you can connect to the network. But you will have to reconfigure the router.
Try it. In any case, some solution will work.
