Good afternoon. If you have a new firmware installed on your TP-Link TL-WR942N with a new control panel (as on the screenshot below), there is an option to configure OpenVPN. All settings can be set on one tab, which is located under “Advanced Settings” – “VPN Server” – “OpenVPN”.

On the “VPN connections” tab, you will be able to view information about active VPN connections. Including OpenVPN.
