Hovering of TV Beeline channels when the Netis WF 2780 router is included
Started to hang on channels on Internet TV when the router Netis WF 2780 is on. I changed the switch, changed the set-top box for TV. I contacted support, they said that the cause may be the router.
What happened all of a sudden? I had no problems for almost two years before that. By the way, shortly before the problem occurred, the firmware in the set-top box was automatically changed. The router was flashed with the latest version from the off-site site.
Regards, George.
Answer
Good day. Did I understand you correctly, the cable from the provider is connected to the switch, from where the cable goes to the TV set-top box and Netis WF 2780 router? In that case I don’t really understand what the router has to do with it and how channels can freeze because of it.
In the title you wrote: “when the router is powered on”. When the router power is off, the digital TV works normally, no freezes?
The reason is unlikely to be in the firmware update of the set-top box, as you have tried to change the set-top box.
Specify in the comments how you have everything connected. If through a router, it may be that the TV hangs due to insufficient power of the router. This may be due to power problems. Maybe the router’s power supply is no longer giving out the right voltage, or there are problems with the capacitors on the board. They swell, and the router starts working with various glitches.
