High-speed connection is turned off and it is not possible to distribute Wi-Fi in Windows 10
Unfortunately, I have not found any answers to solve my internet problems.
- When the laptop goes to sleep, I have to press the connect to internet button again. The network cable is connected directly to the laptop, a high-speed connection is created via PPPoE. In the device manager for Broadcom and Intel Gigabit network adapters in properties, the power management tab is unchecked. I also created a shortcut for this connection and put it in the Autoloader. And still, every time I have to connect to the Internet through the button, like in the 20th century. Firewall disabled.
- I can’t give out internet via wi-fi. I did everything through the command line, the result is that the Internet disappeared altogether, and the connection I set with my name does not reflect at all in network connections, as if I did not create. I had to reset everything back to factory settings. Through Windows settings the same thing, my connection that I created does not reflect, sticks it as: Network and Internet – Network Connection – wi-fi, no one has it stuck there. Creating a computer-to-computer connection I don’t have, neither do I have a hotspot.
Answer
On the first problem. To make the high-speed connection in Windows 10 start automatically, you need to create a shortcut to it, and add it to the autoloader in the “Autoloader” folder (as you have already done). But before that, you need to go to Network Connections, right-click on your PPPoE connection, and “Properties”. Next, on the “Options” tab, uncheck “Request name, password” and click Ok.
And for automatic start after connection breakage (going to sleep mode) you need to open the properties of your PPPoE connection and in the “Options” section put a check mark next to “Call me back when connection is broken”.
On the problem with wi-fi distribution. Here it is very difficult to understand what exactly your problem is.
If something does not work and you do not have the “Mobile hotspot” tab, then you need to update Windows 10, and possibly reinstall the Wi-Fi adapter driver.
