Good afternoon. I tried to allow other users on the network to access the internet connection (right click on the network, properties, access). After turning on the hotspot, I have created a network LAN connection* 12. I wanted to allow access to it. But in the Access tab was just “local network” and nothing could not be selected. From your article I tried to uncheck “Allow other network users to manage shared access to the connection…. “After that in the Access tab I have no possibility to choose any network at all – there is not even such a field. In the state of the new network ipv4 – internet, ivp6 – no network access. Now the smartphone is connected to this new network, but I can’t access the net. What to do. Let me clarify that yesterday everything was working fine)))

What Windows do you have installed?
Did you start the network via hotspot in the settings (if you have Windows 10)? Or through the command line?
In the properties of which connection are you sharing and where did you remove the “Allow other network users to share the connection….”?

Please answer these questions and I will try to help you. If it says “Internet” in the virtual network properties for IPv4, then everything should work. And if you can, attach a screenshot of the “Manage Adapters” window (where all adapters are) in the comments.
