Hello. The problem is popular. Basically, on D-Link DIR-615 and other routers the solution is one – reset the router to factory settings. If you have changed and forgotten the password to enter the router settings, it can not be restored. I once saw articles on this topic on the Internet. But there everything is very complicated. And all these “holes” the manufacturer has probably closed long ago, as it is the security of the router.
Therefore, to enter the settings of D-Link DIR-615, from which you forgot the password, you will have to do a factory reset of the router. After the reset will fit the factory password: admin.
Important! After the reset, the router will be like new. For the Internet to work, it will need to be re-configured. It all depends on your ISP. If you are not sure that you can configure the router yourself, it is better not to reset the settings.
To do a reset, you need to press something sharp on the RESET button and hold it for about 10 seconds.
