Creation and configuration of a single WiFi network

Good afternoon. Please help me with this question. There are several wi-fi routers (TP-Link and Mikrotik). Is it possible to set up a single Wi-Fi network on them, something like repeaters, but that they connect to each other not by Wi-Fi but by network? Or at least take the Internet over the wire, not from the connected Wi-Fi point? Ideally it is also planned to carry out through them access to the local network. You will help me a lot if you at least tell me in what direction to move. Thank you.

Answer

Good day. It is possible to configure, there is a scheme. But I can’t guarantee that everything will work. As far as I understand, you want to connect the routers with a network cable. Is that correct?

The main router must be configured to connect to the Internet, so that the Internet through it will work. Also on the main router you need to set the Wi-Fi network name and password.

We take the second router, reset it to factory settings, go to its control panel, set the name of the Wi-FI network and password the same as on the main router, and disable the DHCP server on it. Then, the cable from the LAN port of the main router is connected to the LAN port of the second router. The second router is an access point with the same wi-fi settings. We should get a single Wi-Fi network.

On the third router also set the same identical wi-fi settings, disable DHCP server, and connect to the second router on the scheme LAN-LAN.

It is necessary to try. In the comments you can write about the results, or ask additional questions. How to do all this in detail on Mikrotik routers, I can not advise. I am not familiar with these devices yet.
