Can a router strengthen the Wi-Fi signal on the site?

Hello! I apologize, but very much ask for an answer. I live in a private house, the plot is large 50 meters, I rent to resort guests. There is wi-fi, but weak for distribution, those rooms that are further away generally no signal. Recently bought an access point Nanostation M2, a week later burned because of a thunderstorm, can not be restored, looking for something cheaper budget option. Will it save me if I put another router??? and what kind?

Do you need to transmit wi-fi from your house to other houses on the property where your wi-fi just doesn’t reach?
Do you want to connect to the main router via wi-fi (wireless bridge), or is it possible to run a network cable to the houses you rent? The access point was most likely connected via network cable.
