After resetting the router settings there is no Internet

I reset the router. Changed the password, changed the network name. I saved and rebooted the router via laptop. After that it says no internet access. I’m making a wireless connection.

HOW TO CURE? Help.

Answer

Hello. It’s too bad you didn’t even write what kind of router you have.

I’m pretty sure that the problem is that you have not configured the router correctly, or at all, to work with your ISP. You need to specify the type of connection your ISP uses and set the parameters (if necessary). I wrote about it in the article: when setting up the router writes “No Internet access”.

You have done a reset of the router, all these parameters are deleted and the router can not connect to the Internet. Accordingly, it can not distribute the internet to other devices via Wi-Fi network.

Since I don’t know what router you have, here is a link to the page with instructions on how to configure different models: /routers-setup-and-configuration-guides/.
