How to Connect a Wireless Mouse and Keyboard to the Lg Smart TV?

In the last article we connected our TV to the Internet, and in this instruction I will tell you in detail how to connect a wireless, or wired mouse and keyboard to a modern LG TV. I’ve already written that without an Internet connection, the Smart TV function is practically meaningless. So, without a keyboard and mouse you can’t work in it either. You can still control the system with the remote control, but typing text is a torment. And it is much more convenient and faster to work with Smart TV with a mouse, and not only in LG TVs.

Of course, if you have a branded LG Magic Remote, it saves the situation a little, although it is not very convenient to type text with it. Therefore, if you actively use the smart functions of your TV, it is better to connect a keyboard and a mouse to it. And even better, a wireless keyboard and mouse. LG TVs don’t seem to have any serious problems with the support of these devices. Everything works like clockwork.

I will show you the Rapoo E9270p 5GHz Wireless Ultra-Slim keyboard and Rapoo 3710p mouse. We will connect all this goodness to the LG 32LN575U TV set. The model is from 2013. I think that on newer TVs there should be no problems. Again, when I get a chance, I will try to connect to a newer TV. In addition to the Rapoo mouse, I also tried to connect an Asus mouse. Everything worked fine. With wired devices also everything is fine.

Connecting mouse and keyboard to LG TV set

Everything is much easier than it may seem at first glance. We take an adapter from the mouse, or keyboard, or both (as in my case) and plug them into the USB connector of our TV.

At this point, the TV should display messages that new devices are connected. These messages disappear from the screen very quickly.

That’s all:) The connected mouse or keyboard should already be working. Turn on Smart TV and check. A cursor should appear on the TV screen.
