The choice between 3 models of the router. Zyxel, or TP-Link?

Question: Hello, if possible advise : 3 com. sq. about 60 sq. 2., computer, tablet and phone – games, movies and so on. Was a router Tenda 3 – normally worked for 6 months and broke down, read a lot of reviews on different sites, they are so contradictory that I am confused …. Stopped on 3 models:

TP-LINK TL-WR 842;
ZYXEL KEENETIC START ;
ZYXEL KEENETIC LITE 3.

And like Zyxel, but confused by reviews that the power supply whistles. Please advise, maybe I’m not seeing the obvious – or+ in these models? Or maybe the 4th option :):):):):). THANK YOU!

Hello. I recently wrote an article on choosing a router. The article is new, up to date, you can read it if you haven’t already.

I know TP-LINK TL-WR842N and ZYXEL KEENETIC START router personally. Worked with them. Both models are good. But I would advise you to choose TP-LINK TL-WR842N. It has a USB-port, and for your tasks it should be enough. But, ZYXEL KEENETIC LITE 3 also has a USB port.

If it’s one of these three, buy the TL-WR842N or the KEENETIC LITE 3. Whichever looks better. As for the power supply whistling, I didn’t notice it on ZYXEL (but I had only one model), but on TP-LINK, sometimes there is whistling. But, you still need to hear it, and it seems not on all models.

This is my opinion. I will not advise a specific model, it’s a big responsibility 🙂 .
