Hello, please help me, I faced a certain task – there is a so-called Wi-Fi router of the core, which is connected to the Internet from the provider. From it, 2 more Wi-Fi routers (on different floors) are connected via Ethernet cable. The task is to ensure that each of the three routers has both wired lan and wi-fi access. The main wi-fi router gives out the Internet on wi-fi and on lan, one of the next two also (dlink), but the second of these two does not give out (zyxel keenetic). All the head broke, there must be some complicated settings. Help please, what is there and where…will be very grateful!

Hello. Yes, on ZyXEL Keenetic you most likely just need to set the correct settings. But, before you do that, I would advise you to do a factory reset on it.

If you connect the cable to the LAN port (Home network) on ZyXEL Keenetic, you can configure the router as an access point. There is even a separate mode of operation on the ZyXEL.

And if you want the router to work in the Internet center mode, then the cable should be connected to the WAN port (Internet). And set the router settings to automatically receive IP (on the “Internet” tab).
