How to delete virtual networks created through the command line for distributing WiFi from a laptop in Windows 10

Hello! Yesterday I got an answer from you to my questions, thank you. I will try everything you suggested. I have another question: How can I delete the virtual networks I created through the command line from my laptop for wi-fi distribution? I want to try to create a network (so to speak from scratch). The problem is that tried to run a virtual network through the program (Switch Virtual Router) in the selection of connection settings program gives (LAN connection *10), and in the network control center created virtual network is written as (LAN connection *2). So I think that I created virtual networks earlier, remain in the memory of the system, and interfere with the connection, I would like to remove them. Help if there is such a possibility. Regards, Alexey.

Answer

Hello. To be honest, I don’t think that the previously created networks can somehow interfere with the configuration of Wi-Fi distribution in Windows 10. Even if they are saved somewhere. When we start a new network, we just overwrite the old one. The fact that “LAN connection” appears in adapter management with a different number at the end is normal.

About Switch Virtual Router. It is better to start the distribution through the command line. After all, the program works exactly the same way.

I haven’t heard of any special command that deletes all previously created virtual networks, and it probably doesn’t exist. There are commands to clear all network settings. If you are willing, you can try it. Run the commands one by one, and/or do a network reset through Windows 10 settings.
