Help with the choice of Wi-Fi adapter for PC
I have chosen more modern variants in terms of features, but half of these adapters either have no reviews on the Internet or are not available at all.
TP-LINK Archer T2UH
TP-LINK Archer T2U
NETGEAR A6100
ASUS USB-AC51
TOTOLINK A1000
Which one of these is better? I’m not going to hide the router very far away, the apartment is not big.
Answer
Any Wi-Fi adapter from the ones you provided will work and will be able to connect your PC to a Wi-Fi network. Which one is better is a moot point. And there is no answer to this question. So I’ll just give you my opinion.
TOTOLINK A1000 and NETGEAR A6100 – I’m not familiar with these manufacturers’ adapters, so I can’t say anything about them. But I’m sure they will work fine.
ASUS USB-AC51 – I looked through the reviews, many people write that it doesn’t work well with Windows 10. Although, support for this system is declared by the manufacturer. Well, Windows 10 is now full of problems with wi-fi. And this adapter is more for laptops, judging by its compact size. Yes PC, it’s not so important. But for compactness you will probably have to overpay.
TP-LINK Archer T2UH and TP-LINK Archer T2U – seemingly normal, modern adapters with support for 5GHz networks. Even if you don’t use 5GHz Wi-Fi now, you will for the future. There are also different reviews about them, that the network falls off, etc. But, such reviews will be for each device, since the equipment and settings are different for everyone. And not everything depends on the adapter.
If you do not need support for networks at 5GHz, you can still consider TP-LINK TL-WN722N. It has been on sale for a long time, there are a lot of good reviews. And you will also save money.
