Nowadays, you can transfer files in almost every social network, by email, or through different messengers. It’s not a problem at all. My guess is that you are already using some method. In this article, I will show you in more detail how you can quickly transfer a large file. However, how fast the transfer will be depends on your internet connection and the connection of the receiving party. Although, there are no special problems with this now.

If you need to quickly transfer a few photos, a document, an archive of 20-30 MB, it is easiest to do it via e-mail or Skype. In any case (for any file size) you will be able to use the methods I will show below.

Whichever way you use, if you need to transfer a lot of files (for example, a lot of photos or videos), I advise you to put all the files in an archive. Then you will only need to transfer one file. You can use WinRAR or 7-Zip archivers.

The service is free. It does not even require registration. You can transfer files up to 50 GB in size. Immediately after uploading a file, you will receive a link to download it. You can send this link by e-mail, or share it on social networks.

The only disadvantage of this service is that the file can be stored for a maximum of 14 days. Although, it is logical. This is a service for sharing files, not for storing them. If you need to store files, see below for a way using cloud storage.

Click on the button to upload a file, and select the file you want to transfer.

Once the file is uploaded, you will see all the information on the file. Also, there will be a link to the file. There are also three switches, with which you can change the time of file storage, protect it with a password (which will appear near the link to the file), and change the type of password.

Also, below will be a form through which you can quickly send a link to the file to the necessary email, or to a cell phone number.

The user who follows the link will be able to download the file, or all files at once, if you uploaded several pieces.

Let’s look at the process of transferring a file through the cloud, using Google Drive as an example.

Go to the link http://drive.google.com. If you have already used this service, you will immediately see your files and folders, or a button with a proposal to go to Google Drive. If you don’t have a Google account, however, sign up.

All we need to do is upload a file to the cloud, and pass a link to the file.

Click on the “Create” button, and select “Upload Files”. Select the desired file (or several) on your computer.

Wait for the file to be uploaded to disk. Right click on it, and select “Enable link access”.

A link to the file will appear, which you need to copy and send to the person you want to allow to download the file.
