Connection of the LG TV to Wi-Fi without a built-in and external Wi-Fi receiver
Answer
Hello. In principle, you can try to connect LG TV to Wi-Fi network via laptop. If your laptop is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can try to connect your TV to your laptop with a network cable, on your laptop go to Network Connections, press the Ctrl key, select “Wireless Network Connection”, and “Local Area Connection”, right-click on one of them and select something like “Configure Bridge”.
But, I’ll give you a better option. You can buy an inexpensive Wi-Fi repeater (this is the best option), or an inexpensive router, and use it as a Wi-Fi receiver for your TV. This option will cost no more than buying an original wi-fi receiver for LG TV.
You can buy, for example, such a repeater: /tp-link/installing-and-setting-up-the-tp-link-tl-wa850re/. Connect it to the Wi-Fi network, and connect the TV to the repeater. The TV will receive internet over the network cable.
Or buy an inexpensive router, and use it as a receiver.

I can’t be 100% sure that these solutions will work in your case, but everything should work.
