The router began to distribute the second Wi-Fi network. How to remove it?
Good day! Please advise, the router began to distribute two networks, one that was configured, and the other under its own name. It connects to both, under different passwords. At the first network password, which was set and the Internet “goes”. To the second network password looked in the router settings, the numbers. Connects, but no internet. Tried to make a new connection, everything worked, one network, but the Internet “does not go”. After rebooting, again gives two networks and the situation as described above. What is it? How to remove this second network? I have not found anything on the Internet. The router is TP-Link TL-WR740N.
Answer
Good afternoon. What is the name of the second network, and where exactly did you look for its password? And how did you make a new connection? From your description it’s very hard to understand the problem.
I would do a factory reset, and set up the TP-Link TL-WR740N again, following the instructions: /tp-link/how-to-configure-tp-link-tl-wr740n-wi-fi-setting-and-the-internet/
After that, the second Wi-Fi network that the router distributes should disappear.
