Wi-Fi TP-Link Archer T4uh Adapter: Review and Reviews

Hi! Today I decided to make a small review of TP-Link Archer T4UH wi-fi adapter. At the end of the article I will leave my review, well, and I hope for feedback from those people who have already bought and use this adapter. It happens that after installing a Wi-Fi router immediately raises the question of how to connect to the Internet stationary computers. Especially if the router is installed far from the computer. It is not always possible to lay a network cable. And PCs, as a rule, do not have a built-in adapter. Like on laptops, smartphones, etc. Therefore, you can simply buy an external, or internal Wi-Fi adapter. I wrote about it in more detail in the article: How to connect a regular computer (PC) to a Wi-Fi network. Archer T4UH can be used with laptops without any problems. If, for example, the built-in adapter is broken or its capabilities are not enough for you (for example, there is no support for Wi-Fi 5G).

As I understood, the Archer T4UH model can also come in a black case. Perhaps this one depends on the country the adapter is shipped to. I have already connected my Archer T4UH to a desktop computer, configured everything, and of course wrote about it in the article: TP-Link Archer T4UH wi-fi adapter: connection, configuration, driver installation. The setup is very simple, especially in Windows 10. Didn’t even have to install drivers. It works with MAC OS too.

TP-Link Archer T4UH is a dual-band adapter. This means it can work on 5GHz, and on the new 802.11ac standard. Connection speeds can be very fast, up to 1200 Mbps. Up to 867 Mbps at 5 GHz, and up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

Archer T4UH features:

• Dual-band operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
• High speed connection.
• The adapter is connected via high-speed USB 3.0.
• External antennas for better signal reception and transmission.
• Interesting design and good build quality.

Not the cheapest wi-fi adapter, but with these characteristics it is one of the best on the market.

TP-Link Archer T4UH review

The adapter comes in a small box.

It comes with the adapter itself, a USB-extender (without which the adapter cannot be connected), instructions and a disk with drivers.

Almost the whole adapter is made of white glossy plastic. The assembly is good. There is a WPS button (for quick setup of a secure connection), a green operation indicator and a connector for a USB cable.

And it can also walk 🙂

There are rubber feet at the bottom, thanks to which the adapter stands confidently on the table.

Reviews

I liked the adapter on all counts. It looks good, convenient connection via extension cord, quick setup, high speed and good signal reception. For a PC it’s a great option. For a laptop you can look for a more compact version. If it is important for you.

I looked online reviews about TP-Link Archer T4UH, there are no special problems and disadvantages. Everything works perfectly. Many write exactly about good signal amplification. For example, if you have a very bad wi-fi signal, then most likely Archer T4UH will be able to strengthen it.
