TP-Link TD-W8950N: Why is the Internet indicator not burning?

Hello. Yesterday we bought a router TP LINK TD-W8950N, but it does not light up the Internet indicator, all connected correctly, but the Internet is not, the Internet line itself works, as when you change the router to TP LINK 8151 everything works, and the Internet indicator is lit. Does this indicate that the router I bought is faulty?

Answer

Hello. It is quite possible that the router is defective, it is a faulty router.

I wrote a separate article on this problem: router does not see the Internet cable. WAN port does not work.

Did you go to the TP LINK TD-W8950N settings, to the tab with Internet settings? There you most likely need to set the parameters for connecting to your ISP. This may be the problem. When you set the necessary parameters, the router will connect to the Internet and the indicator will light up.

TP LINK TD-W8950N does not respond to cable connection, no indicator lights up at all?
