The modem is installed strictly in one place (no signal is available in other places). Laptop is installed in another room, connection via cable is impossible. I bought a router to connect via wi-fi. But the signal is weak – low-power – 1 – 2, less often 3 divisions. On the modem installed antenna “zigzag” (double square), the signal is less than “excellent” does not happen. No, unfortunately there is no such experience. I looked at TEW-655BR3G on the Internet, there is an internal antenna. There is definitely nothing to do there. Unless you solder it somehow, but this is a question for radio amateurs. But I think it’s a stupid solution.
Frankly speaking, I don’t really understand your connection scheme and what exactly you need to amplify.
