The Internet on Intel Compute Stick (Windows 10) is unstable on the Wi-Fi Internet.
There is a Wi-fi router TP-Link TL-WR740N. It has been working for 3 years. Until now Iphone, iPad and Macbook were connected to the network. Everything worked very fast and stable. Now I decided to buy Intel Compute Stick with Windows 10 installed on it mainly for watching movies and surfing the Internet. Internet on this device refuses to work normally. The speed is constantly jumping, or the connection disappears altogether. Tried to prescribe DNS addresses Google, the problem does not solve much. After rebooting the router, the speed appears, but after some time again disappears. On mac and iPhone everything works fine. How to solve the problem?

Good day. You wrote:

And how do you notice these jumps in internet speed? When the connection is lost, what is the status of the connection? It’s just a very ambiguous problem.
I don’t have an Intel Compute Stick, but I think the Wi-Fi issue there is no different from other Windows 10 computers. The first thing I would do is connect the Intel Compute Stick to another Wi-Fi network. Test it to see how it would work. Another possibility is that maybe the Intel Compute is mounted too far away from the router and the Wi-Fi problem is due to a poor signal.
If it turns out that the problem is this Compute Stick (Windows 10), then you should try to update the Wi-Fi adapter driver. Or replace it from the list of already installed ones.
