Constantly writes a check for the network requirements when connecting to Wi-Fi

Constantly writes “check network requirements” and nothing happens, it does not connect to the network. I waited 10 minutes, it still says the same thing. This is my home network with the name “HOME”. The day before was with a laptop at a friend, he has the same network name. Connected fine, just changed the password. Now at home, it won’t connect. No option to change the password either. Just “checking network requirements” and that’s it. Linksys router, friend’s router is Tp-link.

Response

It’s bad when two wifi networks have the same name. I think that in your case you just need to delete (forget) the wi-fi network on your laptop and reconnect to it. Specify the password from your home wi-fi network.

It’s a pity that you didn’t write what Windows is installed on your laptop. Therefore, I give a link to the instruction, which you can remove wi-fi network on Windows 7, and a separate article on the example of Windows 10.

I think that after this procedure, the “checking network requirements” error will disappear and you will be able to connect your laptop to wi-fi.
