Other people’s computers and phones in the local network through a router

Three computers (windows 10, windows10, windows 8), three android tablets and two android phones use internet from one router. The computers are organized in a home group and therefore appear in the “network” tab. As of recently, I see some other people’s computers, phones and tablets on the “network”. I can’t see my own tablets and phones, as I’ve never seen them before. I changed the password on the Wi-Fi, but the problem has not disappeared. The provider says it’s Windows 10. But I don’t believe something… Can you tell me how to solve it, and whether I need to solve anything? Can these other people’s comps get into mine (I can’t access them, only mac-addresses show)? Thanks!

This is all very strange. You should look at these “foreign” computers and phones on your local network. The provider is probably not involved here, as the local network goes through a router. And strangers’ phones have nothing to do with it, they can only connect via Wi-Fi. And in general, it seems to me that phones can not be displayed on the “Network” tab. Is it a popular provider?

And your router? Too bad you didn’t write what model.

Go to the router settings, and see the list of DHCP clients. Or just the list of connected devices. It should show all the devices that are connected to the router. See if there are any “left” devices there. Even if there were some other devices connected to your network, they should have “fallen off” after changing the password.

Along with the password, you can also try to change the Wi-Fi network name.
