D-Link DIR-300S: Not full Internet access from a smartphone

Good afternoon, I’ll start in order:

  1. Configured D-Link dir-300S (prescribed statics)
  2. Updated the firmware to 3.0.0.
  3. Configured Wi-Fi WPA2-PSK
  4. Checking DHCP for IPv4 (DHCP enabled works)

Now the problem itself, go to Play Market, we strasuzu meets the inscription “No connection Check Wi-Fi or cellular network connection”. Go to Chrome browser “Cannot find DNS-server” (on accessing any site).

At the same time Works whatsapp (can not send pictures or receive pictures) correspondence works. On the computer the internet works without any problems.

Answer

You first need to test your smartphone with a different Wi-Fi network. Or try to connect another Android smartphone to your network. Then something will become clearer, and you can already look for a solution. So far it is not clear whether the problem is in the router or the smartphone.

I can advise you to specify DNS: 8.8.8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 in the settings of the D-Link Dir-300S router (where you prescribed static addresses), or in the properties of the Wi-Fi network on the router.
