Sony PlayStation 4 does not see Wi-Fi and does not connect to the network
I have a Sony PlayStation 4 I can not connect to the Internet when searching for Wi-Fi it does not find it, when I start to manually search for a Wi-Fi network then after entering the password, etc. It writes that incorrectly entered ip-address and write that the Wi-Fi signal is weak and so on, and the router is 1 M from the PS4. I do not know what to do ?
Answer
Clarify in the comments:
- Are there multiple available Wi-Fi networks (yours and neighboring ones) in the radius?
- No Wi-Fi network can’t be seen by your Sony PlayStation 4?
- Have you connected your PS4 to wi-fi before?
- Are other devices connecting to your wi-fi network?
This is important information.
What I can tell you for sure is that if your Sony PlayStation 4 doesn’t see your Wi-Fi network (but the network is there and other devices are connecting to it), you won’t be able to manually connect it. The connection you write about is necessary to connect to networks with a hidden name (SSID).
I am waiting for your answer and we will think further.
