Wi-Fi does not work on TP-Link TL-WR741ND
I bought a used TP-Link TL-WR741ND router. I want to configure it with my phone, but the problem is that neither my phone nor my tablet can’t see the network of this router. I rebooted, did a factory reset, should be visible open wi-fi, but it is not (neither open nor closed). What to do? Maybe the router is broken?
Answer
Yes, most likely your TP-Link TL-WR741ND is broken. Especially if after factory reset, the device still doesn’t see Wi-Fi network.
You didn’t write the main thing – is the Wi-Fi network indicator on your TP-Link TL-WR741ND lit/blinking?
Try to do a factory reset again according to these instructions. On the sticker at the bottom of the router, there is SSID – this is the factory name of the network. There should also be a password (PIN), if the factory network is locked with a password.
There is no button to disable Wi-Fi network on TL-WR741ND.
