The connection with Wi-Fi at a distance is lost (when you move away from the router)

Here’s the problem. When you hold the laptop close to the router, everything works perfectly, no problems. As soon as you move a couple of steps away from it, it immediately loses connection and does not even connect

When you stand next to it, torrent pumps over 8mb, as soon as you move away the speed drops sharply and that’s it, there is no wi-fi.

Guys help, impossible already, tried everything. If anything, I have Windows 10, everything that is written about solving the problem with loss of connection on Windows 10 I have already tried, nothing helped.

Answer

You need to first find out what the problem is. And to do this, you need to connect your laptop to another router and see how it will keep the Wi-Fi connection at a distance. Also see how other devices work with your network. Without this information, there’s not much point in advising anything.

The problem could be either in the laptop itself or in the router (wi-fi network). Perhaps it is due to interference from neighboring networks, or some household appliances. And when you start moving away from the router, does the network level drop? Has this problem always happened with these devices? Have you rebooted the router?
