Were DID The Network Control Center Go and Total Access in Windows 10

Today I discovered that when I right click on the internet connection icon (in the notification panel), there is no “Network and Sharing Center” item. This is in Windows 10. And it disappeared after installing the next, big system update. This was the quickest and easiest way to open this window. Since I’ve shown this method in almost every article, I can now imagine how many questions visitors will have after installing the update.
Here’s how it used to look like:
If you right-click on the network connection icon in Windows 10 now, we see the old “Troubleshooting” item and the new “Open Network and Internet Options”.
Now, to open the “Network and Sharing Center” window, you need to select the new item “Open “Network and Internet Options” and in the “Status” window (where the status of the Internet connection is displayed) click on the corresponding item.
And only then the old, familiar window will open.
Microsoft is slowly accustoming us to the new settings interface. So that instead of the usual “Control Panel” (which is also hidden) we used “Settings”. Maybe it is good, but many people are not used to these settings and do not understand them. And there are a lot of articles written in which everything is shown exactly on the old control panel. We will have to redesign it.
