Suddenly, the speed of WiFi on the Samsung phone fell strongly
Samsung Galaxy J3 SM-J320F phone.
Up until a few days ago everything was fine with the device itself, network connection and other things.
For no particular reason, the speed dropped significantly, but only on this device and Wi-Fi connection (no viruses, mobile network is fine, the device is also normal in other parameters and yes, on the other devices on cable and wireless network with speed everything is within the normal speed from the provider).
Earlier about ~20-40 mbps exactly received the phone, now this is the result (attached screenshot), ranging from 0.4 to 1 and then quite unstable. It is inconvenient to do anything practically, I ask for your help, maybe there will be a solution …
Speed from the provider ~100 Mbps, on other connected devices receives normally
Answer
Are you sure the speed on other devices hasn’t dropped? What is the wifi speed on other devices? I just haven’t heard of such problems yet that the speed drops on only one phone. Usually the router fails. But the speed suffers on all devices.
Go through each item:
- Check if the mobile internet is disabled on your Samsung Galaxy J3. Too bad you didn’t take a screenshot of the entire screen.
- Make sure it’s connected exactly to your Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure you don’t have a VPN connection set up on your phone.
- Try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network and measure the speed of your internet connection.
- Reboot your phone.
- Do a network reset in your Samsung smartphone settings and reconnect to your wireless network.
